While
potential authors may have little experience and ability in producing
and delivering e-learning materials, they should be content specialists
with substantial teaching experience. Interested individuals may contact
the publisher (dpswanzy@uniqware.com)
with a first-draft proposal. The project should be conceived as instructional
in nature, in any of a variety of disciplines. It may have the grand dimensions
of a textbook or complete course, or it may be as small as a substantial
learning object. In a short narrative of no more than 600 words, this
first-draft proposal should contain:
- general publishing
objective (monetary, professional achievement, etc.)
- expression
of interest in producing a specific learning object, a set of electronic
materials for course enhancement, or a complete e-textbook
- identification
of level of expertise in a particular discipline, including verification
that knowledge of course content and teaching experience are substantial
- verification
of a writing style that is clear, well organized, and free from grammatical
and spelling errors
- identification
of a specific market (not necessarily based on size)
