UniqPublishing invites authors in all instructional disciplines to submit publishing proposals, areas presently represented in the catalog being criminal justice, law, music, and nursing. UniqPublishing is actively seeking proposals from disciplines represented in general education reqirements and especially those traditionally labelled "arts and humanities." Potential authors should be content specialists and have significant teaching experience.
Structured and sophisticated instructional design is an important concept for UniqPublishing, and its refinement may be either a function of the author or of UniqPublishing itself. In practice, it is this instructional design that is primarily responsible for setting apart the resulting interactive instructional materials from the more often-found electronic presentations (such as traditional Powerpoint productions).
Ideally, collaboration would provide the best avenue to good instructional design. E-publishing, generally speaking, requires more intense collaboration than does traditional publishing. This suggests that some training in instructional design as well as software usage may be provided to the author. Even in a collaborative environment, however, specific content is the exclusive responsibility of the author.
While traditional lectures may provide the raw ingredients for content, all publications are conceived for electronic delivery, either for the web or CD-rom. (Nevertheless, printed versions are frequently provided as an option.) The published material may be an entire e-textbook, a multimedia package designed to support or supplement traditional lectures, or a substantial but specific learning object.

A specific market should be identified, but it need not be a large one. More information is provided under "Author Guide" and "Contact Us."
